Krystle Marshall

Krystle Marshall

Krystle’s passion in the health industry has always been a part of her, she decided to study something that would make people look better, and feel better about themselves (her journey began in 2001). She decided to study somatology and received her Masters in Somatology in 2003 after qualifying she moved to the UK where she managed a health spa, but that just wasn’t fulfilling enough, so she decided to further her education and specialize in Colon Hydrotherapy and nutrition. She received her specialist diploma in 2006 as a Colon health specialist.

In 2009 she moved back to Cape Town where she has managed her own business practicing Colon Hydrotherapy, her passion to help and encourage people on a healthier journey is part of who she is. She has  strong beliefs that the body can heal itself and we don’t need conventional medicine to try and fix the damages caused by unhealthy lifestyles. Her research into the cannabis industry began 8 years ago when a family member fell ill with stage 4 COPD from that day cannabis and the research of the plants healing abilities became a daily obsession of hers.

With Krystle’s extensive experience in the health industry she focusses  on providing her clients with a mind and body cleanse guiding her clients on a healthier path combining different alternative therapies.

Lauren Charlesworth

I am Lauren Charlesworth (née Moore) a registered counsellor based in Cape Town’s West Coast/Blouberg area. I began my training in the addiction/eating disorder field and moved into private practice in 2019. I specialise in short-term therapy for adolescents, adults, and couples.

For me, my patients’ well-being is of the utmost importance, and I go out of my way to ensure that every patient’s counselling journey is as comfortable and enriching as possible. I am fully aware that the choice to enter therapy, no matter the reason, is a difficult and sometimes painful decision, but I am here to hold your hand through the entire journey of healing. Change is possible – and together, we can achieve it!

I offer a safe, non-judging space where clients can delve into and explore core issues that are preventing them from living their life to the fullest. I believe that every client is an expert on their own life, and only through their willingness to adapt, can change take place. My aim is to be a co-facilitator on your journey to recovery.

Kirsten Meyer

Kirsten Meyer

Kirsten Meyer is the owner of Myosteo Health & Therapy based in Edgemead. Originally from a 10-year corporate background as an interior designer, Kirsten knows first- hand what the negative effects of stress, both physically and emotionally, can have on one’s body. After following her calling, she underwent an entire career change and established her wellness practice in November 2012. Kirsten specialises primarily in two modalities namely Myosteo-Practic and Scenar Therapy which are explained briefly below…

Myosteo-Practic is a firm, hands on treatment, which looks at the alignment of the spine and pelvis, gently realigning where necessary. Stress & tension in the muscles, nervous system & organs is also addressed, and released, by using a variety of specific techniques.

Scenar Therapy is a handheld device that addresses the nervous system (which is essentially the control centre of the body), via the skin. It restores communication in the body and therefore function. Amongst other things, it also speeds up healing and assists with inflammation and pain relief, including anxiety & emotional blockages.

Claudia Van Scalkvyk

Claudia Van Scalkvyk

As a certified holistic health and wellness coach, Claudia’s passion for creating safe, supportive and life-changing spaces for women to improve their health and lifestyles, own their power, and speak their truth began when she lost her younger sister to cancer.
Claudia strongly believed that there was something that she could do to help and so she started doing in-depth research on the disease, trying to understand it and trying to find ways to fight it. In doing so, she came across numerous studies on nutrition and the importance of healthy living. Claudia took on the battle with her sister until the day she had to lay her sister to rest. With the passing of Claudia’s sister, the UBA 90 day wellness challenge was born.
Because of her personal journey, Claudia takes a holistic approach to her work by supporting women (and men) across the nation in harnessing the power of their mind, body and spirit. She believes that by tuning into each of these areas of her clients’ lives, they can experience deep healing on multiple levels, as well as transformational life changes.

Emphasizing each of her client’s unique life experiences, goals, and dreams, Claudia and her team of experts creates a custom action plan that supports them in moving forward toward living their best and healthiest lives. In addition to providing a deep and meaningful coaching experience to clients, Claudia mentors, inspires, guides, motivates, and holds each participant accountable to achieve their goals and implement the positive choices they’ve identified in their lives.
Through virtual and in-person transformational wellness coaching programmes with a concentration on nutrition and fitness, Claudia has worked with hundreds of women around the world on living intentionally and making space for self-care. She also brings a healing approach to her work through positive psychology, mindfulness and empathy.
